We wanted to explore the mechanical and the digital, making links with intermittent mechanisms:
the sewing machine, the claw/registration pin that takes a film through a camera/projector and the mechanisms used in typewriters.
Through this process we wanted to understand what we have gained in technology but also what we have lost.
